Key Features and Benefits
As a builder you will recognise benefits in two key areas, site labour reduction and speed of construction.
Site Labour Reduction
When you look at the issues facing your business, where does cost and management of site labour rate? At the core of panelisation, is the reduction of expensive and difficult to manage site labour, in favour of consistent, controlled, factory finished materials.
Panelisation removes the need for:
• Bricklayers
• Renderers
• External wall painters
• Window and door installers
• Application of foil wrap to walls
• Deliveries of bricks
• Deliveries of windows
Speed of Construction
From a cured slab, the panelised building can be erected and completed to lockup in as little as one week. To the builder this gives faster access to progress payments and settlement, as well as reducing holding costs.
For the builder and their client there can be significant improvements in project turn around times and the number of projects you can take on.
Lower your overheads
By utilising panelisation, not only will site labour be reduced, but the overhead costs associated with building also drop. Experience shows costs such as cleanup, supervision and site amenities are reduced through panelisation.
Control costs
Panelisation gives you one known cost of materials to take your project from slab to lockup. Cost overruns and issues of hand over from trade to trade are reduced.
Reduce H&S compliance costs
Monarch has H&S compliant systems of installation, including purlins fitted from below and fall protection of 600mm spaced channels that form the diaphragm for the ceiling.
Speed up fit out
The completed lockup shell is designed to speed up your fit out. Most studs are prepunched to accept plumbing and electrical fit out and grommets are supplied. Straight and true frames make plasterboard installation fast and improve the quality of finish. Custom designed windows with push fit powder-coated architrave, reduce painting and cutting in around windows.
Termite compliance and resistance
Termites are a growing concern to owners and builders. The MBS Panelisation System is completely resistant to termite attack. There is no place for termites to attack a full steel frame, cement based Calsonite and render, or glass and aluminium windows and doors.
